Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in shift handovers and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and electronic health record systems.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a Compact State.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience (Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU, or ER preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and in good standing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings and schedules.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required by patient volume.
