Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in close collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and interventions in the EMR system.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state nursing board regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or valid Compact Multistate License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
- Current RN State License and proof of identity/eligibility to work in the USA.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required by the role.
