Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and clinical expertise.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing staff training, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate discharge planning and patient education to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments and patient demographics.
