Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Document patient history, symptoms, reactions, and progress in electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, meticulously monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and visitors.
- Participate in shift handovers and unit orientation to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Indiana (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical settings.
