Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and formulate individualized care plans in alignment with physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient progress and clinical outcomes in the EMR system.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical care situations within the clinical setting.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and computer systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and rotate shifts as needed.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance for travel to various facilities.
