Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient flow
- Provide clear communication to patients regarding treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs and recognize critical changes in patient condition
- Manage emergency department resources efficiently during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
