Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians to develop effective treatment plans
- Document detailed clinical observations using EMR systems
- Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Maintain accurate patient flow metrics and departmental statistics
- Train new staff on triage protocols and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
