Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using established triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Handle medical emergencies per ACLS/BLS guidelines
- Monitor patient flow and departmental efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years ER/Urgent Care or Triage experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic or EHR systems preferred
- Spanish bilingual a plus
