Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to prioritize care urgency using standardized protocols
- Provide accurate clinical guidance via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage channels
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate appropriate care pathways
- Maintain detailed electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Implement crisis intervention protocols for emergency situations
- Train new staff on triage procedures and department protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency department or urgent care triage
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- BSN degree or higher strongly preferred
