Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on acuity levels
- Provide clinical guidance to patients via phone triage and virtual consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems with HIPAA compliance
- Monitor patient flow and department resource allocation during high-volume periods
- Conduct follow-up calls for discharged patients with specific discharge instructions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota with minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proven ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Spanish bilingual certification a plus
