Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Utilize Epic EMR systems for accurate documentation and communication
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow
- Provide telehealth triage services for remote patients
- Implement emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and CMS regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Missouri (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
