Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to determine appropriate care urgency
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide telehealth consultations for non-emergency cases
- Manage patient flow across emergency and ambulatory departments
- Implement infection control protocols and safety standards
- Mentor new nursing staff on triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
