Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in fast-paced emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide compassionate care to patients across diverse cultural backgrounds
- Maintain compliance with TJC and emergency department protocols
- Train new staff on triage procedures and department workflows
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license with minimum 3 years ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
