Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using advanced diagnostic equipment and prioritize treatment urgency
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and communication
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow through emergency departments
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining strict adherence to triage protocols
- Maintain equipment calibration and quality assurance standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in triage systems (ESI, CTAS) and emergency protocols
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for high-pressure situations
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot medical equipment
