Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using digital triage systems and provided diagnostic equipment
- Coordinate with ER physicians and specialists using integrated communication tools
- Utilize provided mobile carts and monitoring devices for rapid patient evaluation
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with supplied tablet devices
- Train on new medical equipment during onboarding and quarterly refreshers
- Lead emergency response protocols using supplied emergency kits
- Mentor junior staff on equipment utilization and best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Michigan with 3+ years ER/triage experience
- BLS/ACLS certification; TNCC preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records and supplied triage software
- Experience with diagnostic equipment (EKG, pulse oximetry, defibrillators)
- Ability to operate provided mobile medical carts and monitoring devices
- Critical thinking skills for rapid assessment using supplied tools
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
