Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize urgent cases using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services across diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document assessments accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
- Maintain flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina with minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with relevant experience considered)
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling preferences
- Strong communication skills across diverse cultural backgrounds
