Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person triage to determine urgency and care priority
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans for diverse patient populations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide clear health education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols
- Manage high-volume call centers during peak hours with exceptional efficiency
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with 2+ years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- BSN or relevant certification (ENPC, TNCC) preferred
