Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments via telehealth, phone, and in-person triage systems
- Prioritize cases using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document electronic health records with 100% accuracy
- Manage patient flow during high-volume periods
- Provide education to patients/families on home care instructions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Critical decision-making under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- BSN preferred or equivalent experience
