Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine urgency/priority of care needed
- Provide accurate medical triage advice via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans
- Document assessments and patient interactions in EMR systems
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department operations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- BSN or higher preferred
- Minimum 3 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
