Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient conditions using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice via telephonic triage services
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow between departments and facilities
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
