Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive phone and online triage assessments for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic symptoms.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and home care management.
- Identify high-risk patients and facilitate timely referrals to urgent care or emergency services when necessary.
- Manage incoming calls and messages with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a triage or telephone nursing capacity preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Proficient in navigating computerized medical records and telehealth platforms.
