Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and prioritize cases using triage protocols
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
- Assist in emergency response coordination during critical situations
- Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and next steps
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN program)
- Valid New Jersey nursing license or eligibility
- BLS certification (will provide training if needed)
