Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine the urgency of care needs.
- Direct patients to the appropriate level of care, including scheduling appointments or recommending ER visits.
- Document patient interactions accurately and in real-time within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage high-volume call volumes while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Assist in the development and implementation of triage protocols and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the State of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (New Grads Welcome!).
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
