Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients seeking medical advice and information.
- Conduct thorough symptom assessments to determine the appropriate level of care, including self-care advice, referrals, or emergency services.
- Document patient interactions, medical history, and triage decisions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients on preventive care, medication management, and follow-up instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (home health, clinic, or emergency room preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while handling complex medical queries.
