Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telephone and in-person triage assessments to determine the severity of patient conditions.
- Prioritize patient flow and facilitate timely access to medical services.
- Document all triage assessments accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop appropriate care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current RN license issued by the State of Nebraska.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or emergency setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-stress situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
