Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure timely interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resources
- Respond to high-pressure situations with clinical expertise and composure
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years emergency or triage nursing experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Proficiency in ESI triage scale and emergency protocols
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
