Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and priority of care
- Provide accurate medical guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain detailed electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance
- Manage high-volume patient interactions with exceptional communication skills
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness drills
- Supervise LPNs and medical assistants during peak hours
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Florida RN license
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
