Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Accurately prioritize cases based on established triage protocols
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for seamless care coordination
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Monitor patient flow and adjust staffing as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish preferred
