Our 350-bed Level I Trauma Center is seeking compassionate, detail-oriented nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. You'll play a critical role in our fast-paced ER, making life-altering decisions that directly impact patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in high-volume emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical situations
- Oversee patient flow and coordinate with ancillary departments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills
- Mentor new nursing staff through our onboarding program
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
