Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care delivery
- Assist with patient nutrition, medication administration under supervision, and wound care
- Maintain sterile environments and implement infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated patient support
- Transport patients safely between facilities and treatment areas
- Support emotional well-being through patient companionship and communication
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required (current)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Physical stamina for lifting patients and prolonged standing
- Pass background check and drug screening
