Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe ambulation
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain patient environments
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team on care plans
- Administer medications under supervision (per state guidelines)
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in senior care
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays
