Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside support with precise instrument transfer and suction management
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging with diagnostic precision
- Implement strict sterilization protocols for OSHA compliance
- Manage patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory control and supply ordering for seamless operations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Dentrix software
- Coordinate patient flow to maximize daily efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Current Missouri radiography license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital imaging systems and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
