Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals monitoring, and medical history documentation accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor medical treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and handle incoming patient inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
