Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding).
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any significant changes to the charge nurse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or state license is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong healthcare interest will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn EMR software quickly.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
