Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Feed patients according to their dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Change linens and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain state certification).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist patients as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
