Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and cross-contamination prevention standards.
- Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (Radiography) accurately.
- Manage patient flow, greet arrivals, and ensure a comfortable waiting area.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records in our dental software.
- Prepare instruments, materials, and treatment rooms for procedures.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to put patients at ease.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Ability to stand for long periods and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (for local travel if required).
