Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Assist with minor procedures and wound care
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR systems
- Sterilize equipment and ensure exam room readiness
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
