Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient vitals checks and medical history assessments.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or RN is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Valid Georgia nursing license or MA certification.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on detail.
