Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and progressive care
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical data in electronic health records
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
