Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Medical Procedures: Support nurses and physicians with wound care, specimen collection, and basic medical equipment operation.
- Communication: Serve as a vital communication link between patients, families, and the medical team, documenting all interactions accurately.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patient rooms and living areas are clean, sanitized, and comfortable at all times.
- Emergency Support: Respond promptly to patient needs and assist in emergency situations according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA License: Must hold a current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Washington.
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on patient empathy.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills for electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
