Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide education to patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS a plus
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
