Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate critical information to physicians and care teams
- Manage patient flow in high-volume emergency settings
- Document cases accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Provide clear instructions to patients and families
- Collaborate with social work and discharge planning teams
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and NYSDOH regulations
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Expertise in ESI triage methodology
- Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in high-stress environments
- Epic EMR proficiency preferred
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
