Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with examinations, prepare exam rooms, and perform basic lab tests (blood draws, urine analysis).
- Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments, handle phone inquiries, and manage patient follow-ups.
- Phlebotomy: Perform venipunctures safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with externships are encouraged to apply.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly.
