Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support healthcare professionals with clinical procedures as directed
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Build trusting relationships through attentive communication with patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Reliable transportation and availability for all shifts
