Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility, helping patients transfer to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and document patient responses accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Valid and current CNA Certification and State Licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.
