Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Provide compassionate assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting for patients during the night shift.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates at scheduled intervals.
- Patient Safety: Implement safety protocols to prevent falls and ensure a secure environment for all residents.
- Medication Support: Monitor patient medication schedules and report any adverse reactions or missed doses to the charge nurse immediately.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients are clean, comfortable, and well-rested throughout the night.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and logs in compliance with facility standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and families.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Georgia CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or hospital nursing preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
