Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain safe patient environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and execute personalized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in home care or clinical setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Compassionate approach with commitment to patient dignity
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
