Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following OSHA and HIPAA standards
- Support patients with mobility needs and transfer assistance
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family members
- Participate in shift handovers and care plan updates
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of EHR systems preferred
