Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical team
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using EMR systems
- Support patient independence while ensuring safety protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and therapists for care coordination
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Valid Washington driver's license (for facility transport)
- Background check and drug screen clearance
