Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and process dental X-rays and digital images as directed.
- Greet patients warmly, manage appointments, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Assist with insurance verification and patient billing coordination.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant License (WA).
- Dental Radiography Certification (Washington State required).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
- Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
